Historical Building

Cotton Antiques and Collectables, located at 518 Main St. Oxford, Alabama is in the historical downtown
district. The structure, built in the late 1800’s and still uses the original elevator, was purchased in 1981
by Rev. Oscar B. Cotton and became Cotton Furniture. A well know establishment in Calhoun and
surrounding counties until his death in 2002. Wanting the building to remain in the family , Cotton’s
daughter Nancy Cotton Burnell , in 2008 converted it to the present business.
If you are a history buff or enjoy going back in time, you will enjoy the diversity of items in the store. In
addition to Antiques, we carry local honey by “Honey Bee Well”, Keeper of the Light candles and odds
and ends, both old and new. When you are in our area, please stop by, and as always we appreciate
your business.
